Mon style | It was the Christmas jumper day!

It’s the final count down tududu tututututuuuu… Plus que quelques heures avant le réveillon de Noël! Avez-vous terminé vos achats de Noël? Bon courage si ce n’est pas le cas ;-).

Cette année dans ma wish list, il y avait le fameux pull kitsch de Noël.Le Christmas jumper day est une tradition que l’on prend très au sérieux outre Manche… Oui, oui! Il etait tendance dans les annees 80s. Puis, il est devenu le cadeau ringard acheté par les grands parents aux petits enfants dans les années 90s. Il y a une date officielle où chacun doit porter un pull moche de Noël. En général, c’est le troisième vendredi du mois de Décembre. Cette date a été instituée par une association caricative appelée « Save the chilren » plus d’infos ici. L’objectif est d’obtenir des dons. Les pulls sont une sorte de rappel qu’il faut participer.

Then, it became the nerdy gift bought by grandparents to grandchildren in the 90s. There is an official date where everyone has to wear a lousy Christmas sweater. L’année dernière, je n’étais pas au courant prête. Mais cette  fois-ci, j’étais parée! Je n’allais pas manquer une occasion de faire le clown. Le 16 décembre, je suis allée au travail avec ce pull H&M. Je l’adore! C’est exactement ce que je voulais! Un pull avec un message drôle plus que tout. Etant fan de Drake, j’ai tout de suite craquée pour le jeu de mot. « You used to call me on my elf phone » Le texte fait référence à la ritournelle dans le titre « Hotline bling ». Cerise sur le gâteau, le pull était en solde! Je suis contente de l’achat. Ce pull est super confortable et suffisemment épais pour m’aider à faire face au froid hivernal. Pour la petit histoire, en arrivant au travail je me suis rendue compte que j’étais la seule à avoir respecté la tradition! ahah.

The cherry on the cake, the sweater was on sale! I am happy with the purchase. This sweater is super comfortable and thick enough to help me cope with the cold winter. For the record, when I got to work, I realized that I was the only one who respected the tradition! Ah ah.
