Angel est une station que je connais très bien. L’entreprise pour laquelle je travaille se trouvait dans la zone. Angel est un quartier très cool pour une balade, pour boire un verre ou profiter d’une bonne table.
Angel is a station that I now know very well. The company I work for was in this area. Angel is a very cool area for a walk,enjoy a good meal or have a drink.

Il n’y a que quelques mètres à parcourir pour arriver sur Chapel Market, un marché où on trouve de tout: alimentation, souvenirs, décoration, droguerie.
You only have a few meters to go to get on Chapel Market, a market where there is various good to acquire: food, souvenirs, decoration, drugstore.
En prenant la sortie a droite de la station de metro, on accède aux bords du canal Regent. Il n’y a jamais de bordure le long des canaux. Ça me fait un peu flipper… du coup je m’écarte le plus possible de la bordure. Mais, j’adore me balader le long des canaux. Le paysage est magnifique. C’est un moment où je peux réfléchir sur mes projets ou au contraire me vider la tête. Et je ne suis pas la seule à apprécier la marche, j’ai croisé Russell Brand :-).
When you take the first on the right, you can go for a canal walk on the Regent Canal. There are no borders on the canals. It scares me a little… So I walk as far away from the border as possible. But, I love canal walks. The scenery is beautiful. This is a time where I can reflect on my projects or otherwise clear my head. And I’m not the only one to enjoy the walk, I met Russell Brand.
En 20 minutes de marche, j’ai quitté Islington pour me retrouver pas loin de Shoreditch.
After 20 minutes of walk, I was not in Islington anymore but in Shoreditch.
J’adore passer par le passage « Camden », une petite rue très agréable à traverser où se concentre des revendeurs d’antiquité et des stands de vêtements « vintage ». On y accède en prenant la première à droite à la sortie du métro. L’accès au canal Regent se fait juste avant le passage Camden en tournant a droite une seconde fois.
I love going through the passage « Camden », a small street very pleasant to cross where you can find an antique and market. To go there you need to turn right at the exit of the subway. Actually, from the station, you need to turn right to get to the market and turn right again to go the canal walk.
Au bout de ce passage se trouve la librairie « Waterstone’s » où j’aime passer le temps en feuilletant les livres. Juste en face, il y a le parc Islington Green, un endroit parfait pour se poser et lire son livre tranquillement.
At the end of this passage, you will find the library ‘Waterstone’s’ where I like to spend time flipping through books. Just opposite, there is the park Islington Green, a perfect place to lay back and read his book quietly.

The Brewhouse and Kitchen: un pub sympa où on peut boire de la bière fait maison. La carte des bières est impressionnantes il y en a pour tous les gouts. Leurs burgers sont excellents.
The Three Johns: Un bar très sympas où boire un verre a la sortie du boulot
Barrio North: un bar club qui propose un happy hour ou les cocktails sont à 5 livres sterling. L’ambiance est un melange de sons latino et hip hop.
The Brewhouse and Kitchen : a nice pub where you can drink homemade beer. The beer list is impressive there is a beer for every taste. Their burgers are excellent.
The Three Johns : A very nice bar where you can have a drink at the end of workday.
Barrio North a club bar with an happy hour. The cocktails costs 5 pounds. The music style is a mixture of the Latin and hip hop musics.
