Hello how are you? Today, I present to you a dress that I bought a year ago. I never believed at the time that we would still be confined in April 2021! She’s from Grass Fields. I am a huge fan of the brand and the models they offer. In addition, it is a brand created by two Cameroonian sisters: Christelle and Michelle Nganhou. I took advantage of the return of good weather to take pictures at the Hill garden & pergola. This is the second time and probably not the last that I have taken a series of photos in this magical place. If you have the opportunity to go to London, I advise you to take a tour.
The dress is in wax which is a relatively thick fabric. I think it would be hot in the summer. It is perfect for fall and spring. She runs small. I am wearing my normal size but the dress is slightly tight. I do not close it at chest level. I recommend taking an extra size if you want to close it. The print is no longer available but the model is still sold. It’s the kind of dress that I could wear for a restaurant, a picnic or an exhibition but also to go to work with a suit jacket. I fell in love with this model. The print and the cut are amazing!
For a while, I forbade myself to wear long dresses. I thought that with my meter sixty I would necessarily be « packed » but I no longer have this concern: either I wear heels, or the dress is high waist / empire. It’s all about proportion. The belt that I wear allows to cinch the waist and gives a rock side that I appreciate. I could have put on a biker jacket.
