Cette semaines mes quatre coups de coeur sont les soeurs Staves, le groupe Buraka Som Sistema, Mark Ronson et la chanteuse Me’Shell NdegéOcello.
This week favorites tunes are sung by the Staves, Buraka Som Sistema, Mark Ronson and Meshell Ndegeocello.

J’ai découvert les Staves, un groupe de musique folk composé par trois soeurs britanniques en 2011. Ce qui m’a frappé c’est la perfection de leurs harmonies. Leurs voix me transportent instantanément dans leur univers. Le premier titre que j’ai entendu était Mexico tiré de leur premier album studio que jusqu’à présent, je n’avais pas écouté. Wisely and slow est la chanson parfaite pour un réveil en douceur :-).

I discovered the Staves in 2011. It is a folk music group composed by three British sisters in 2011. What struck me was the perfection of their harmonies. Their voices instantly transport me into their world. The first song I heard was Mexico is the first song I heard them sing. It is a track from their first studio album which until now, I had not listened. Wisely and slow is the perfect song for a gentle wake up:-).

J’avais un peu oublié le groupe portugais Buraka Som Sistema depuis leurs tubes Wegue wegue et Sound of kuduro en collaboration avec MIA. J’adore ce groupe pour les mêmes raisons que je suis fan de Major Lazer. J’aime le fait qu’il mélange musiques afro et électro. Leur dernier album est sortie l’année dernière. Il est blindé de tubes festifs et bien produits. Vuvuzela est un titre qui me donne du punch. J’ai un petit délire dans les transports en commun: je marche sur le rythme de la musique que j’écoute 🙈. Autant dire que je file comme une étoile quand j’écoute cette chanson. 😉

I had almost forgotten the Portuguese group Buraka Som Sistema from their tubes Wegue Wegue and Sound of Kuduro in collaboration with MIA. I love this group for the same reasons that I’m a fan of Major Lazer. I like the fact that it mixes African music and electro. Their latest album was released last year. It is full with festive tubes and many products. Vuvuzela is a title that gives me the punch. I have a little madness in transport: I walk to the beat of the music I listen to & # x1f648 ;. Suffice to say that I’m off like a star when I listen to this song. 😉

Mark Ronson est un producteur, musicien, dj et chanteur britannique. J’ai adore son album Version aux influences soul, funk, pop et hip hop. Il revient cette année avec un nouvel album Uptown funk en collaboration Bruno Mars. Impossible de résister à ce son funky et très entrainant. Bruno Mars est impecable sur ce titre et la production est sans faute pour moi. Un travail d’orfèvre. 😉

Mark Ronson is a producer, musician, dj and British singer. I loved the album Version where there was a mix of soul, funk, pop and hip hop. He returns this year with a new album Uptown Funk in collaboration Bruno Mars. Who could resist this very leading and funky sound? Bruno Mars is impecable on this title and the production is flawless for me. A work of craftsmanship. 😉

J’ai découvert la chanteuse Me’Shell NdegéOcello en regardant l’émission « So you think you can dance » un concours de danse de salon. Sa musique mêle neo soul, hip hop et funk notamment. Fool of me était la chanson d’une des chorégraphie. Sa voix est si grave et profonde que j’ai cru entendre un homme… J’adore le fond comme la forme. Qui n’a pas été rejetee par quelqu’un à qui il a donné de l’affection? Tres bonne nouvelle! Elle est actuellement en tournée et sera en concert à Londres en Mai prochain.

I discovered the singer Meshell Ndegeocello watching the show « So you think you can dance » a ballroom dance competition. His music mixes neo soul, hip hop and funk particular. Fool of me was the song of a choreography. Her voice is so deep and serious that I thought I heard a man … I love the music and the lyrics. Who has not been rejected by someone he gave affection to? Very good news! She is currently on tour and will be performing in London in May.
